Mastery Learning

To provide opportunities for educators whose reading curriculum and instruction involve establishing high expectations for students to share data and experiences; to bring together educators whose interests are in providing effective instruction through which students achieve reading, writing, speaking, and listening proficiency and then use these literacy skills to learn; and to assist educators to meet the need of relevancy—to take students beyond the reading/writing processes to their application—for understanding life, for earning a living, and for experiencing culture and civilization.
