If you forget your login information, please see the “Account Access” area in the upper right corner of the IRA home page. You can request that your login information be sent to you by clicking the “Forgot Your Password?” link and submitting answers to the prompts. • Your membership number is available on your "My Account" page, which you can access after logging in.

If we have your e-mail address and you are not enrolled in IRA's automatic renewal program, you will receive an e-mail renewal reminder from IRA five months before your expiration date. Following that, if you don’t renew, you will receive a series of reminders. To renew at any time, you can:

• Log in to your account at www.reading.org to renew securely online.
• E-mail Customer Service at customerservice@reading.org.
• Call Customer Service at 800-336-7323 or +1-302-731-1600.
• Fax a printed application with credit card information to +1-302-737-1057.
• Mail a printed application with payment to: IRA, PO Box 8139, Newark, DE 19714, USA.

You may also enroll in IRA's automatic renewal program. Your enrollment in automatic renewal ensures uninterrupted membership service and helps IRA's "Green" initiatives by eliminating the need to send renewal notices. Each year IRA will automatically charge your annual membership dues to your credit card unless you contact IRA Customer Service by phone or e-mail to cancel your enrollment in this program.

An IRA membership is good for one year from the time the application is processed. A member can opt to join or renew for three years and receive a 10% discount on the total amount of dues.

Yes, after successfully logging in, please go to your "My Account" page and click on the "Edit Profile" or "Username or Password Change" button.

No. Journal subscriptions are available only to IRA members.

The International Reading Association offers an unconditional, no-risk guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your membership, we will provide you with a prorated refund of the balance of your membership.

If you joined as an individual member, your membership belongs to you and you can take it with you if you change jobs. If your institution (university, library, etc.) subscribed to one or more IRA journals, the subscription(s) will stay with your institution.

You can obtain proof of your membership by logging in to your account online. On the "My Account" page, you will see a summary of your membership and journal selections. If you require a receipt of dues paid or would like an official receipt other than the order confirmation that was e-mailed at the time of your order, Customer Service can mail, fax, or e-mail a receipt per your request. Online membership is an affordable, new membership option available for only $29. All membership benefits are delivered online only, including Reading Today and any selected journal subscriptions.

Members who are fully retired and who have been an IRA member continuously for 10 years or more qualify for Emeritus membership. Individuals who have been members of IRA for 25 years or more (regardless of retirement status) qualify for 25-Year membership. Eligibility for the discounted student rate with savings of nearly 40% off applies for up to five years to students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Beginning November 2011, the online editions of IRA’s journals will be provided by Wiley Online Library. IRA will continue to provide each journal with peer-reviewed content through its professional journal editors and review boards. Read more about this partnership.

If you have a subscription to The Reading Teacher, Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy, or Reading Research Quarterly, you can access your journal online. Log in to your journal here, then use the journal links found on the My Account page, under the My Subscriptions section to access your journals. If you need help logging in, please see the Help with Logging In page.

While you are free to use whichever address you choose, we recommend that you use your home address because we mail issues of the Reading Today magazine during the summer months. Also, some members have reported difficulty receiving their journals and magazine in a timely manner if issues are sent to a school.

Your first journal should arrive the month following the month in which you place your membership order.

All regular individual members (except Developing Economy members) and all institutional subscribers automatically receive a copy of Reading Today, IRA’s bimonthly magazine. All journals must be selected as additions to a Basic or Online membership.

• The Reading Teacher is published in print and online eight times a year: monthly from September to May, with a combined December/January issue.
• Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy is published in print and online eight times a year: monthly from September through May, with a combined issue in December/January.
• Reading Research Quarterly is published in print and online four times a year: January, April, July, and October.
