An annual subscription includes four issues: January, April, July, and October.

 

Individual subscriptions, which include IRA membership, are available at the prices below (quoted in U.S. dollars). Print subscriptions include online access to the issues published during your membership year; online-only subscriptions are available at a discounted rate.

To access the online journals, enter your username and password in the “Account Access” box above and to the right, click the “login” link in the menu at the top right of every page of this site, or click on any link to “full text” on the current or any archived issue table of contents. If you’re already a subscriber but don’t know your log-in combination, we’ll e-mail it to you! (See our terms of use for more information about online access.)

For those interested in more online access, consider Access IRA. With this membership option, you receive one year of access to all available issues of The Reading Teacher, the Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy, and Reading Research Quarterly, along with all selected book chapters. The price is only US$100 with any membership purchase ($60 for students, $50 for those in countries with developing economies).

For schools, libraries, and other institutions, print subscriptions include six issues of Reading Today.Online subscription access, which is sold separately from print, isbased on authentication via Internet protocol address or range andincludes access to the issues published during the subscription yearfor the duration of that year. Individual journal articles published at this website are available for purchase on a pay-per-view basis at a cost of US$8.75 per article ($6.95 for IRA members). Pay-per-view purchasers receive a link to follow to retrieve their purchased article, which can be viewed on screen (HTML format) or downloaded, printed, and saved to your desktop (PDF file).

To purchase an article, simply click on a link to “full text” from the current journal table of contents, from any archived issue, from the selected articles listing, or from any article abstract. You will then see a link to “make this purchase,” which will take you to our secure online store.

Once your purchase transaction is processed, you will receive a link to follow to access the article. The link appears both on the confirmation screen, and in a confirmation e-mail. Articles must be retrieved within 24 hours of purchase.
