Title I Committee

 

Charges:

  1. Collaborate with the Governmental Relations Committee in advocacy efforts for the reauthorization of Title I and other related programs and legislation supporting reading improvement and professional development.

  2. Monitor and provide updates to the Board on Title I related legislation as it changes from its current version through the legislative and regulatory processes.

  3. Disseminate relevant information about the changing nature of Title I and make suggestions to the IRA Board of Directors on how to use IRA systems to inform legislators, IRA members, and related organizations about IRA's position.
