Grants for Literacy Projects in Countries with Developing Economies

Purpose

The purpose of this fund is to assist in the funding of literacy projects and in the professional development of literacy educators.

Grants

This fund, made possible by voluntary contributions of International Reading Association members, offers annual one-time grants to International Reading Association members from countries with developing economies who seek support for a literacy project in their own countries. The number of grants (each up to US $2,500) will be determined by the amount of donations made to this fun as of June 30 each year. Applications must be postmarked by November 15.
